What is the Advocate Coverage Library?
The Advocate Coverage Library is a directory of benchmark coverage standards, meaning the required limits, deductibles, and carrier ratings for a specific risk. It contains pre-built risk profiles by industry and lender standard, plus tools to build custom profiles, and every profile can be applied to a live policy for a coverage gap assessment.
What is a risk profile?
A risk profile is one benchmark coverage standard in the Coverage Library: the required limits, deductibles, endorsements, and carrier rating for a single risk, mapped to the World Insurance Model coverage taxonomy. Open any profile to see its full requirement set, typical exclusions, and the coverage gaps that risk most often carries.
What does the completion score mean?
Coverage completeness score: the count of coverage type-peril pairs the profile requires, divided by the total pairs applicable to this asset type in the World Insurance Model (WIM) taxonomy, expressed as a percentage. 100% means coverage is required for every applicable pair. Sort the directory by it to see which risks the library benchmarks most thoroughly.
Can I create a custom risk profile?
Yes. When no library standard fits, the condition builder lets you compose custom requirements from fields, operators, and requirement values, choosing asset types, coverages, and requirement-level details. Custom profiles benchmark policies the same way library profiles do.
